From Imagination to Real

A friend once sent me a drawing his kid made and asked if I could turn it into a 3D print. I said yes, mostly because I didn’t want to admit I had no idea how yet.

So I figured it out. I learned a bunch of new skills, messed up more than a few times, and spent a lot of late nights turning a kid’s imagination into something you could actually hold. There wasn’t a guide for it — just trial, error, and the need to see it through.

That was about five years ago. I’ve gotten better since then, but this project still sticks with me. It showed me how powerful it can be to take something small and personal and make it last a little longer than it otherwise would have.

That’s still what I’m chasing with every piece.
